NORMAL people should be between 65 and 99. It has no bearing on age, sex, social status, country of origin, or anything else. NORMAL people are all the same in glucose numbers no matter what some say here on Y!A. I have not seen any website dealing with this that says other than what i am saying.
But then again glucometers are only promised to be within 25% of lab testings!! And I have one highly touted meter that is 36 points higher than lab!! Another supposedly great brand that is 28 points lower than lab!!
the only way to find out this girl's glucose numbers is to get doctors orders for lab test for CBC, HbA1c and lipids panel!!

a normal before meal blood sugar for a 8 year old is any where from 90-180. And a bedtime to over night is 100-180.
