Why do laws exist, when people bend and/or break them?

Even the people who enforce, make and translate/interpret the laws break them.

    ...I don"t see a big deal in breaking some laws like the speed limit (if it's not ridiculously overboard) ... But my philosophy has always been that if you get caught , you gotta pay your dues...

    Laws are put in place simply to maintain some sort of order. People will break them because they are either daring, naturally rebellious or just downright inconsiderate of the consequences.

    If we didn't have laws or rules, there'd be a lot of chaos in this World. People hurt and dead and wars would be going on all the time.
