What position should I play In Middle School football?
I am in sixth grade I played for a rec league as a center. I want to play for my school, when I played center I was 5'7" 165 pounds I wasn't fast at all. Over the off-season I have been running and working
out a little bit with weights. I am currently 5'9" 146 pounds and faster. I have pretty good hands and because I played lineman I can block so I was thinking maybe a tight end but please give me your input because I would like to know the best fit for me P.S. this will only be my second year.

Because of your size, I do not recommend you play lineman. Maybe a lineman hybrid, like a tight end, or if you really wanna do something different go all out for receiver. Really I think you could play anything but lineman, and that's because of how much weight you've lost. So try being a power running back, a wide receiver or a tight end on offense.
On defense, try anything but defensive tackle or cornerback. You're best bet there would be end or linebacker.
The best thing you can do is go to your workouts and see where your coaches fit you. Tell them what you can do and they'll put you where they need you.
Good luck!

Since you've only played on the offensive line, you should play fullback at first to get some experience, and then when you think you're strong, fast, and can catch the ball well enough, then you can move to tight end or wideout.
