Christians, would it bother you if your first born died b/c of a decision Obama made?

How was that a 'just' punishment (by God) for the Egyptians who were ruled by a dictator (Pharaoh)?

(response to someone who claimed that all the violence in the OT were 'just' punishment for bad behavior)

Update:

@ AUNT BEE, are you a troll or just that stupid? BTW, he supports CHOICE...are you really so thick you can't tell the difference between the words CHOICE and ABORTION

Update 2:

@ inigo, as far as I know, Obama doesn't-It was GWB that declared wars that kill many, not 'just' the first born.

I was trying to make the comparison for Retardicans to understand.

Looking at Jimbo's response, obviously, they have a really hard time with reading comprehension.

Clearly god was never just. The Bible is full of similar stories.

Don't worry, Christians will undoubtedly find a way to make this about something else and avoid answering the real question.

    @ Aunt Bee,

Abortion has been legal since 1972.

It is choice that a woman makes.

No one should force a women to have an abortion. Even if the women needs life saving chemo treatment, she shouldn't have to abort.

3rd trimester abortions are rare. They should only be done in exceptional circumstance, such as The baby has no brain, or the still born child is still within the womb the mothers body is reacting negatively to that.

I don't see how you can blame President Obama for abortion having been made legal, when none of the republicans that many anti choice people supported ever pushed more federal legislation to ban abortions. I believe republicans want to keep abortions legal, so that there is a single issue that will build their ranks.

Personally, I would hate to return to the era of back alley abortions where women died because of a botched procedure. Legally banning abortions will not stop the demand.

Yes, of course. But how could any decision Obama makes, cause any child to die?

Edit: ANT BEE, Oh please...Obama is not responsible for a person deciding to get an abortion. The person is going to get one or not, regardless of what some President says.

First of all, many first-borns die because of his support of abortion. He even supports the super-heinous Partial Birth Abortion.

Your equation to Pharaoh is silly and uninformed. Any death of those people was by the will or permission of God, as is the death of every person who ever lived. The question is, Did they go to Heaven or Hell after that. The Bible blames those deaths on Pharaoh and not on God.

Either go by Exodus or don't. But it says :

"Pharaoh's officials said to him, "How long will this man be a snare to us? Let the people go, so that they may worship the LORD their God. Do you not yet realize that Egypt is ruined?""

Obama isn't God. He didn't create us. God is the Creator and as such, He can do as He pleases with His creation. He doesn't have to justify Himself to you or pass your moral judgments. All that said, if it bothers you, then by all means you can turn your back on God and go your separate way with our blessings. He gives you that freedom. .
