It cost me $80 thanks to the 2% obam tax hike. What did it cost you?

Republicans didn't fight to extend the payroll tax cut either. Can I call it the 2% Republican tax hike then?

Since Obama took office I have lost an average of $10,000 a year. And each of his four years I have lost about $2000 of my income tax return at the end of the year. Now my paycheck is even smaller due to the Social Security increase. That doesn't count all the other hidden taxes in the products we buy and our gas . Nor does it count the raising cost of all insurance. Now it's not only mandatory to have automobile insurance and homeowners insurance and flood insurance if you have a mortgage is now mandatory that you have health coverage. What amazes me is they calculate health insurance to be less expensive due to the massive new customers that will be forced to buy it or pay fine which is another word for tax. I've always had healthcare through my job and it has covered less and less over the years yet the premiums continue to increase. Life insurance is a joke as well. For as much as they want a month for life insurance if you could trust the banks not to rob you you would be better off saving your own money.

Cost me NOTHING, probably because (I'm guessing?) I earn a whole lot more than you do so can afford a half-decent Tax Accountant...let me guess, you let the New Year come & go without doing ANYTHING AT ALL to adjust either your witholdings OR the percentage of your pre-tax & post-tax earnings going into tax-deferred accounts, didn't you?

THAT's the reason that no matter WHAT the Congress do (for they are the only ones with the power to change your taxes...Article 1, Section 8 of the US Constitution), YOU will likely fail to thrive...

And whether you like the man or not, that ain't Obama's fault!

And since I don't pay into FICA anymore it didn't hit me at all.

But you didn't know that it wasn't a two percent tax hike at all, but end of a two percent tax holiday. It was a break that was only good for a year or two. And now its over, unlike that temporary tax break Bush gave the big guys that didn't even seem to end.

A holiday isn't a hike, and if you can't keep up don't post.

Does this tax in basic terms be conscious to liberals? What are you conversing approximately? Liberals (a minimum of those i be conscious of) have no difficulty with taxes being raised on issues, because of the fact taxes are spent on infrastructure and so on. I come from the united kingdom, i'm a liberal who can fairly show you how to be conscious of approximately taxes!

The expiration of the Payroll Tax Holiday was eminent. However it was Obama who wanted to extend it 1 more year and The GOP who got it in the negotiation. Now the GOP wants to go after Social Security and anything else that protects citizens from disaster.

The GOP must suck all taxes into corporate pockets and privatize everything for profit and suppression of the people.

After all corporations are people and humans are slaves.

You complain about losing something Obama did for you in the last 4 years.

It was President Obama who enacted the Federal tax cut in income tax which your talking about.
