How do I prevent my cell phone's LCD from breaking? 10 points to best answer?
The last two phones I have had both broke because the screen did not work. It was not the digitizer (the outer screen that senses touch) that broke, rather, both times it was the LCD screen that broke (The LCD screen is the inner screen that emanates light and lets you see the image). Neither phone was dropped. The first phone broke while it was in my pocket and the second phone broke while it was in my bag. I dont know why either one broke, but I do know that both times it was the LCD that broke.
I had a case on my last phone and it still broke. I want to prevent the LCD from breaking a third time. What can I do to prevent this from happening?
Thanks

Buying a cell phone with an LCD screen might
seem like a trendy option, but it also comes
with the risk of cracking the screen. A cracked
LCD screen will distort or even ruin the image
on the phone, making it impossible to use
despite everything else working properly. If a crack occurs, it is important to get help
from a cell phone repair company to change out
the screen. The best way to avoid a cracked
screen is getting a protective phone case. The
most common reason the phone screen might
crack is a drop. Dropping a phone is not always possible to prevent, but having a protective case
will cushion the fall and limit the damage.
You can also buy what is called a 'Phone
Bumper' for your iPhone, which is a tough
plastic rim which clips to the outer four
corners, which are the most likely parts of your phone to hit the ground first in the event of a
drop. The bumper does not cover or obscure
the screen, making it the simplest (and
cheapest) protection option for your phone.
Beyond ensuring that the phone is protected, it
is important to handle the phone with care. An LCD screen is possible to break and crack, but
using the phone with a little care will limit the
risk of damage.
