Why are there so many angry players on Black Ops 2?

It's my understanding that the 360 hosts a more hostile online environment. I guess the 360 seems "cooler" in the minds of teenagers and young kids-you know, the angry kind. I can actually see why that whole planting the explosives thing would piss people off. I don't play BLOPS 2, but generally in matches like those, the game ends when the objectives are complete, so maybe you ended it all sooner than people would have liked. My bro plays Uncharted 3, and lots of times, everyone ignores the objective so they can just shoot each other longer than deathmatches would otherwise allow.

Congragulations by the way. You sound like a more sophisticated gamer and don't seem like you'd belong to the stereotypical group of online angry players who give gaming a bad reputation.

I don't know if you're new to gaming or not, but that sort of competitive, somewhat obnoxious attitude gamers show to each other is common, as unfortunate as it may be.

The way you game is fine. Sometimes I like to game lone wolf too.

As to the cause of the issue in the 3rd paragraph, you played really well. So well in fact, that it may cause other gamers to believe you are cheating. That's what he meant by 'Don't mess with the game', as in 'Don't tamper with the game'.

When coming across people like that, you have 2 options:

1) - Simply ignore (Keep playing well to irritate them)

2) - Argue back with them to have some ill fun

When I game on COD, I game to win and I do well. Top 4 all the time. But I don't do silly things like tea-bagging or anything which annoys people. I play hard but cool at the same time, and it keeps me on good terms with those around me.

I do however come across people like that who simply want to badmouth for fun. I'll retaliate depending on what mood I'm in. (:

Hmmm, I think it's something to do with the platform. It seems that Xbox just attracts more angry, angsty teenage types. I've been playing online games for ages both on PC and PS3. It's very rare that you hear someone getting angry and cursing at everyone.

Just understand them dude. Not all players are like them. Maybe because they just suck at that game so they blame other people for their wrongs. Goodluck on CoD: BO 2 dude. :D
