  • Reaction videos on youtube...why?

I don't mind someone secretly recording other peoples reactions...but someone who's like "Hi guys, watch me watch this video and over act for you guys" annoys me! What's the deal with that?

  • Any games on PSN like U.N. Squadron?

I've been hoping that one day I'd find U.N Squadron HD in the Playstation Network or Xbox Live Arcades...but so far this amazing and mostly forgotten classic is nowhere to be seen! I played this game so much on the SNES back in the day...

Are there any games out there that are similar enough (side scrolling airplane shooter in HD)? My wife likes to play spaced invaders Xtreme and Galaga Legions...but I want to get her into something a little more "upgraded" and graphical than that. I search the shooter genre, but of course it is filled with FPS games...anyone have suggestions? Thanks!

  • Fluent Italian Speakers?

I am helping a friend get naturalized as a Swiss, and I need to write a letter to the local offices about him. Unfortunately it has to be in Italian, and I am not so fluent in it. Can someone fluent please check what I wrote and let me know if it makes sense at all? Corrections are highly appreciated!!!

    Egregi Signori,

  • Why are there so many angry players on Black Ops 2?

I love the multiplayer matches...I'm not very good, but I enjoy playing with other random people. I don't have a headset, and I don't join clans because I play 1-2 hours a week...I am a lone ranger and I do my own thing when I play.

It seems that this pisses a lot of people off, as I constantly get angry messages from hardcore gamers who seem to live their life for this game. I don't camp...and I'd say after the end of a match I'm usually ranked in the middle. So I'm not the best...and I'm not the worst.

The last one I got was while playing demolition...I really could not understand. I successfully planted 4 explosives in 2 rounds and won the both rounds for my team. I then got a voice message from someone on my team with German accent: "F*cker!! Don't mess with the Gameplay, you F*cker!!" I don't get it...can't we just play the game? I replied telling him that it was just a game...that he needs to live a life outside of it...to turn of his console, chill out and watch some porn or something.

I just can't get why these guys get so upset at other players even when our team wins...not everyone needs to go prestige 100 times, there are casual gamers out there...

  • If the following people were tributes for the annual Hunger Games, who would most likely win...?

    Jackie Chan

    Jet Li

    Van Damme

    Chuck Norris

    Steven Segal

    Mike Tyson

    Donnie Leung

    Chow Yun Fat

    The Rock

I'd say Jackie Chan since he mastered so many weapons and is so acrobatic (climb a tree in 2 seconds)

  • Lost, 24, Prison Break, Heroes were some of my favs...what can I watch today to fill the void?

Those were the shows that convinced me that the excitement of action doesn't always have to come from a blockbuster film. They kept me aching to watch the next weeks episode with cliffhangers and it would be so hard to wait for the next season to start. All these law enforcements stuff, like C.S.I whatever city, Hawaii 5.0, don't catch me because they keep an equation that starts with a crime that is solved and closed at the end of every episode

Dexter and Breaking Bad are the only ones right now that give me the same..."man, this is an awesome show" kind of feeling...but I still need to wait for the seasons to start! What else can I watch and enjoy just as much, past or present? I did start watching Game of Thrones and that's got good potential.

I am watching Once upon a time, which is alright...I lost interest in person of interest, I watch Touch just because I would like the "Jack Bauer" side of K Sutherland to come out, other than what is worth watching?

    Thanks!!

  • What movies (recent and classic) to watch with my 6 Year Old daughter?

What good movies would you recommend to watch with a 6 year old? Preferrably entertaining for adults, too... We've already gone through all the Dreamworks and Disney animation movies, and these days it seems that not a lot of family movies are coming out. Please help me find something else...the more the merrier :)

    Other ones we've watched already:

    - Home Alone 1-3

    - Baby's Day Out

    - Harry Potter

    - High School Musical 1-3

    - Charlotte's Web

    - Babe 1&2

    - My neighbor Totoro

  • Favorite Xbox live game?

I've been playing CoD Black Ops multiplayer for a while now...I have other games that I want to play...but I always decide to put CoD in first and end up going and going and going and I end up just playing that. It is very addictive, and it's funny to listen to those guys always whining about people camping and cussing the hell outta them...

Anyway, the question is...CoD aside, what is the most addictive Xbox Live game you are playing? I'm ready to move to something else...I think...

  • That Frog in Looney Tunes?

Some of you probably know that singing frog that sings "Hello my baby, hello my honey, hello my ragtime gal"

Is that an original song from Looney Tunes? If not, who sang that song originally? What's it called? Just curious...

    - 49 days (awesome)

    - Dong yi (loved it!!)

    - Dae Jang Geum

    - Stairway to Heaven (probably my favorite one...the whole reason why we started to watch kdramas)

    - My Sassy Girl Chun Hyung

    - Winter Sonata

    - What happened in Bali

    - My Girl

    I appreciate it, thanks!

  • Electronic cigarettes harmful to pregnant women?

My cousin recently found out that she is pregnant. She used to smoke about a pack a day, and is having trouble fighting her cravings...she's been able to cut down but not totally stop. I've heard a lot about Electronic cigarettes being a safer alternative, but I know that they still have nicotine which is not good for the unborn child. So, I have two questions:

    1) If she smokes e-cigarettes with the zero nicotine, would that be safe (or at least safer than a regular cigarette), or are other chemicals in the mix as well?

    2) If she cannot fight the nicotine cravings, does it lessen the risk for the unborn child if she uses Electric ciggy (with nicotine) compared to regular cigarettes, or are the risks the same?

  • Confused about the Swine Flu Count?

Regarding the numbers of confirmed cases of Swine Flu/H1N1 that are being reported daily, is it a count of all the cases found since the beginning of the outbreak, or is it the actual number of cases in realtime (only those that are currently ill with the virus)?

  • Traveling to the US.With the Swine Flu still spreading..is it risky to take the trip with our 4yr old daughter?

We are traveling to the US next week to see my parents (Virginia). My in-laws and my wife are freaking out because they know that the Swine flu is still spreading, and are worried that my 4 year old daughter might catch it during our trip...and are pushing me to cancel the trip. My parents, on the other hand, have mentioned nothing on the swine flu and are looking forward to the visit.

I myself took into account the very low death rate, and the slow spread of the virus (the numbers are still growing, but it doesn't seem to grow at such a huge rate) and didn't think it would be something to worry about. Now that I booked the tickets, I am starting to have second thoughts...what would you do?

Also, has anyone here or someone you know caught the Swine Flu?

  • My daughter refuses to poo in the potty and she's getting too old for the diaper...advice, pleeeaassee!!?

My daughter turned 4 a couple of weeks back. My wife and I have been having problems for quite some time with getting her to poop in the toilet. I can say that she's 90% off the diaper and has been for a while, she pees in the toilet with no problems...we go out, she goes to preschool, she sleeps without the diaper. But only when the time comes to poo, she needs to put a diaper on, and she's done in less than three minutes. We have been getting her to sit on the toilet and try to poo there, and it is impossible!! She'll sit there for hours, and "fake" that she is pushing (and it looks like she is really trying), but she doesn't succeed. She can go for days holding it in, spending hours on the toilet, no matter how painful it can get she won't release...and so of course we always get to the point where we get too worried and feel really bad about the pain she's going through and give her the diaper...and she's done again in less than three minutes. We've tried the sticker reward system which worked wonders in getting her to pee in the toilet, we talked about how "hungry" the toilet is for poopoo, played DVDs about using the potty, showed an elephant using a toilet on youtube, cutting a hole in her diaper, we even tried bribing her with getting her a bicycle the day she goes...but still nothing. Please, if anyone can offer some advice we would really appreciate it!!

  • Could it be Minor Frostbite?

Last week we had major snowfall, and so my wife went outside to make snowmen with my daughter. She was wearing cotton gloves which got wet after a while and they made made 3 medium sized snowmen. Though her hands felt cold, she didn't feel any pain. One week has passed and she's been complaining since that day about her finger constantly feeling uncomfortable. The finger looks fine and the color looks normal, but she gets an electric current type of feeling running through it, and it hurts if she waves her hands or puts pressure on it. Could it be minor frostbite? If so, how long should we expect it to last?

  • There's no proof that God exists, but no proof that God (or some divine being or force) doesn't exist?

So why are so many people extremely proud to announce that they don't believe in God? Is it that "cool" nowadays to be a non-believer, and why does it bother them so much that people have faith in a higher being?

I am not a religious person, and do question the existence of "God..." but it annoys me when someone dogs on someone who believes...

  • What are the classic cartoons you don't see airing these days, but you would want your kids to watch?

Ok, not shows like Looney Tunes & Smurfs, cuz I still see them airing. I'm thinking more on the lines of the Wuzzles, Paw Paw Bears, Shirt Tales, Popples, Atom Ant, Beverly Hills Gang, etc

  • Thinking about having a second child...pros/cons being a single child vs being raised with siblings?

My wife and I have a beautiful daughter of 3 and a half years, and we have started thinking about whether we should stick to one kid, or have a second. My wife and myself have both grown up with siblings (she a sister, me three brothers), and we feel that it is important for our daughter to have a younger sibling, as this would provide her companionship at home with someone closer to her age. But at the same time, we are a bit worried about whether we can financially support another member (we do have backup, as our parents will totally help us out, but we already received so much with our first-born, and now that I'm able to support the fam on my own...we feel bad to receive their help again because they need to financially support themselves as well and I don't believe that they can afford to do it again...nor do I want to put them in that position again).

Now, I just want to hear from you...what are the pros and cons of having siblings vs. being a single child. I'd like to hear the opinions of both those who grew up with siblings and those who grew up as a single child, and how it made an impact on your life, whether you would have liked to grow up with or without siblings...how you feel it affected your life, did having a sibling affect you negatively or positively, etc... So, in the end the question is...do you think it's better to grow up with a sibling or without one...and why?

  • Can anyone name this song?

LEt's see if anyone would remember this song...it's not out on a CD, but was on an MTV show in the early nineties. Can anyone name the song and the Show? Here are two verses:

    I know I'm not a sinner,

But I really need a winner,

    Or the Orphanage will close.

    Now God if you're above,

and it's orphans that you love

then please help the porcupine I chose.

I'm the slowest porcupine in town

but knowing that won't get me down

it's just that they don't see...

so when they blow that whistle

I will move my little bristles

    Cuz there's nothing stopping me.
