Will P215 tires fit on the same rim as the current P225?

1997 ford crown victoria. the tires on it now aren't stock, but the sidewall reads P225. i have snow tires for the rear wheels. the sidewall on the snow tires reads P215. will the new tires fit onto the old rims? and they are both 17"

    Yes they will fit on the wheels, you just can't use them on the same car due to differences in diameter and load carrying capacity.

    If this vehicle has ABS, do not mix tire sizes. The ABS will not operate properly and the speedometer wil be inaccurate.

    yes as long as the radius is the same the R is your radius EX: 225 45 R 17
