I am writing a five paragraph essay for a high school English class. My teacher requires us to use MLA formatting to write all of our essays. Our most recent topic is on a book we had to read. My question is if I still need to create a works cited page, considering I only cite one source throughout my essay, which is the book I am reading?

My father thinks that just about everything that can be downloaded from the internet could have viruses and therefore anything and everything that I have ever downloaded from online my dad is threatening to get rid of, despite the fact that they are virus-free and I have checked to make sure that they were not infected. My dad can assume what he wants, but honestly without downloading anything from the internet you can't really do much on my computer. Now, My dad does have a slight advantage in this situation. The computer that I have been using to download stuff on is my school laptop and I have already accidentally messed it up once with terminal commands, but it was a complete accident and it WAS NOT DOWNLOADED FROM THE INTERNET. What really pisses me off is the fact that he is under the impression that the school allows no games on the school computer, yet in spite of this, the head guy at the tech department at my school specifically told me that as long as I don't play them at school, flash and .jar games are ok at home. So, I decided to play a fun game called Minecraft that one of my friends sent me. I asked him before I opened it if he has played it before. He said yes, without mentioning issues or malware. so I began to play it and I have since become an addict. My father threatened to call the school about whether I am even allowed to download things from the internet when I have to do that EVERY DAY ANYWAY to get homework and papers off of the school website. Later my showed me that by going to a website I could use it to edit my in-game inventory in order to make the game easier. So I used that website a few times and I even had Dennis (my friend) do It on his computer first as a virus-check. No viruses, as usual, and then my father saw me do it. He saw that there were no viruses by the fact that I didn't get any- but he still got really mad at me and now he is going to severely punish me; I am assuming he is going to attempt to remove the game from my computer.

Now here is my question. Is there a way to prove to my dad that most everything that can be taken off the internet is NOT always virus infected and is there a video or some good website I can let him see?

Any and all help will he appreciated. Please do not hesitate to give me ideas. Thank you in advance for your help.

I am curios to know how many Youtubers are able to take "video screenshots" of what they are doing on the computer whilst they are on it. Is there anybody who can recommend or knows of a download-off-the-internet software I can use for this purpose? Is it free? I would prefer that it be something at little to no cost, but since it is the season of giving, perhaps it could be something I ask my folks for? Thank you in advance for any help.

I would like to know the pros and cons to each, without an opinionated or unjust fact. My main reason for this is because I am debating whether If I were to get another gaming console, which would be better to have and for what reason. plus there is an ongoing "war" between my friends and I over the tree consoles and which is better. If it helps, I already own a Wii and I love it, but my friends all have Xbox live and they keep telling me that Sony and Microsoft are coming out with motion sensors and motion-detecting controllers like the Wii, and I am wondering how those compare. Well, I am in high school and they gave us these fancy new laptops to do all of our homework on. I always try my best at school and I really don't like to slack off, but recently I have really been slacking and I'm not sure why. Every time i log onto my computer to do something, I get distracted by facebook and youtube, and i end up staying up late and forgetting to do my homework. Then the next day I end up really tired and can't concentrate in class. I am getting really bad grades and I keep forgetting everything. I have never loved school, in fact I have always kind of hated it, but I had always gotten all of my schoolwork done on time in middle school, and now my parents expect me not to get any F's on my report card, and I have two C's and a D already! Plus I can never motivate myself to do anything and I have been getting mad a lot. In fact, i am procrastinating right now by asking this instead of reading (which is something I just remembered to do now) Can someone who knows what they are talking about tell me what's wrong with me? Please do not criticize me.

In order for me to unlock certain characters on Mario Kart, I must either complete a cup by certain standards, or alternatively win "x" amount of races. What kind of race does that necessarily constitute- Wi-Fi, Grand Prix, VS, or etc., or all of those? Thank you in advance for your answer.
