is this facebook status for an insurance page appropriate?

"The City of **** has recently announced on their Facebook page that the spot under construction on the southeast corner of **** and **** roads is going to end up being a Dunkin' Donuts. You can kiss your New Year's resolutions good bye..."

    i wouldn't do it there are enough things on Facebook that are ads. This would probably decrease your following and credibility with those within your influence
