If that is all there is to your prescription and you are young, probably anything you do will work since you should be able to accommodate enough to compensate for your hyperopia. If someone tells you to stand on your head for 15 minutes and drink a quart of green tea sweetened with honey everyday and you do it believing it will work, I predict in six months, you can go online telling everyone how well this technique has worked for you.

Google the bates method and do the eye exercises. Your prescription is weak so you don't need your glasses. I think if you do the palming eye exercise a couple of minutes a day you will improve. I was worse than you and now I don't need glasses. You are a + so you only need them to read. You can also try wearing a +0.25 to adjust to less prescription. Best of luck.

Pilot's are obviously preferred to have good eyesight. But it is not unheard of airline pilots wearing glasses/ contact lenses. Just as long as you can do the job and pass the regular medicals. hope this helps!
