Have you read the whole bible from beginning to end? If so why did you read it?

I read in the Bible where Tobit cures his fathers cataracts by applying the fish gall from the big fish he killed into his fathers eyes, and then his father is able to peel off the white film away curing his cataracts. If the word of God is in the bible and is true then this should work right? So why is cataracts treated with surgery instead of applying fish gall into the patients eyes?

If there is one thing that I have noticed from democrats and republicans is that they support or at least claim to stand with Israel. But I don't get it. Why is Israel so important to the US? Why are all US politicians required to support Israel? What do they contribute to the US?

My company did not pay us our check on thanksgiving week and has now delayed our payment by 2 weeks. He also gives us our check with no funds in his account so some people don't get to cash their check. I cannot find a single store that will cash the companies checks because they owe money to all ow them since they bounced. If I go to the companies bank they will tell me there's no funds. I live in Texas and to my understanding it is illegal to pay with a bounced check. I already tried to talk to my employer and he doesn't seem to care. Is there anyone I can report him too. How can I expose the company without getting into legal trouble? I am already looking for another job but I still need to get 3 more checks from them plus the parking fees they need to reimburse me from some of the job sites.

We have all called the office and they didn't answer until recently saying we will be getting them this week. But I don't think I trust them anymore. If I don't get paid tomorrow like I'm supposed to, what legal action can we take to get our money? Is there a number we can report the company to? We live in Texas. Other people are thinking of quiting and I am looking into finding another job but would like to get my money as I have bills coming up. Lately I have been hearing my coworkers complaining about problems with their checks. But yesterday I got a letter from my bank stating that the check I cashed was not valid and they have removed that money from my savings account. They sent me a copy of the check which I can deposit to get the money back but if I cash it and there are no funds, then they will take away more money from my account. So I just wanted to know if I can call their bank to verify that there are funds in their account? I know if I ask my employer they are just going to lie to me. If I call their bank before I cash their chscks, will they be able to tell me if there are funds in my employer's account or not? Do I just give them the check number or what information do I need? Tha bank is closed for the weekend and will be opened until Monday so I want to know my options before I call.

I live in Houston and I am tired of people here rooting for them when in fact they should be disbanded They can only beat the worst teams like the Titans for example. It's been over ten years since the team was formed and they haven't made it to the superbowl. The people keep making the same excuse for them saying they are a new team. It's been ten years. They don't call out their teammates failures.If I didn't do my job well I would be fired. So why hasn't this team been disbanded? I am proud of Houston. We have a wonderful city and a descent baseball team. But the texans are embarrassing us. Their past victories are futile if they are not making it to the playoffs. Need proof that the Texans suck. Turn on your tv. They are getting killed by the Dolphins now. What a waste of money.

They say he was born in Kenya and is muslim. That he was brought to the US and applied to colleges as a foreign student. Even after he showed a copy of his birth certificate, they said it was forged. An investigation was conducted by Sheriff Joe Arpaio which was completely biased, and conducted by a detective as racist as the Sheriff. Let s assume for a minute that Obama was not born in the US? How would he be able to pull off being President? He had to be investigated. Why would they allow him to lie his way into office? He is not an illegal applying for a construction job. He was running to lead the country. Wouldn t the US government automatically find out if Obama lied about his citizenship and expose him. And if the Sheriff s investigation proves that his certificate is forged, why did the department of justice or congress ignore it? I just don t understand how someone can get away with this so how can any sane american believe Obama was born in Kenya?

What do you think about the show? Do you like it? I hope it doesn't get cancelled since it's on Fox. They always cancel the good shows and keep gay ones like Glee and American Idol. Interesting show and I like that they make their own music and don't cover other people's songs like that gay show Glee. Can't wait for Season 2.

Even if abortion is wrong there is always a reason for it. Maybe the child will be born with a disability, or the girl is to poor to take care of it, or it would cause the death of the mother. No one has an abortion just for fun. With that in mind, I find it funny that a lot of these pro life people I know personally do not adopt children themselves. Some pro life politicians vote against funding for programs that help low income families and children. And a lot of women who end up not getting the abortion turn out to neglect, abuse, and even have their children starve due to low income. A lot of them are abandoned. I also find it hard to understand how adopting a child has become such a difficult process when there are a lot of children out there who are parentless and unloved. Why don't these people who filmed the planned parenhoood videos focus on these issues? Why don't they adopt children? Or even donate? Why do you address abortion and stop caring afterwards? If you do not care about the children who are already alive, without loving homes, and starving, how can you care about a fetus being born just so he can be neglected afterwards? I wish somebody would ask David Daleiden that question? What is your solution to this problem?

I helped one of my friends build a house a couple of years ago and we only used hammers to nail the wood. But framers use nailguns for everything now. I notice they carry a hammer in their pouch. Why? Is there ever a situation where they actually nail with a hammer? I personally would have prefered to use a nailgun cause hammers are ancient.
