You: Have you read the whole bible?Have you read the whole bible from beginning to end? If so why did you read it?

    My Response:

    1. A relationship with Jehovah our creator. Psalm 83:18.

    2. And For The truth. It leads to life. Even if old age, sickness prevails. The bible promises a resurrection and Everlasting life in the coming future. I want this so bad. Who doesn't!

There's two Hope's...144,000 chosen to heaven Rev.20, whom Jehovah chooses.

or Paradise here on Earth. Whom Jesus chose.

    -Psalm 37:9-11,20,34; John 3:16,17; 17:3; 2 Timothy 3:16,17

I ask those Christians to show me the Bible written in the language of Jesus Christ, teaching to his Israelites people . So, I wonder the Christians are not the Israelites, then they do not posses the original text of Jesus ( May GOD be pleased wit him) . Please see Michael H. Hart who read the whole Bible in English translation from no where.

Yes.  I attended Bible Study from age 6 to 21.  The bible was discussed verse by verse from beginning to end, but I never joined the church or was baptized.

HAD to. YEARS ago. Religious school.  A fine anthology of PLAIN fact , EXAGGERATED fact, outright FICTION, some rock 'em-sock 'em BATTLE scenes, some GOOD advice, some BAD advice, some F[intercourse]INGSTUPID advice, and some thinly disguised porn.

And when properly understood, a rather important step to becoming an atheist.

I did.  A long time ago, but I did.  Cover to cover.  Why?  Because I was having doubts and was wondering if I still believed and wanted to read it on my own without the bias of having a CCD teacher or priest telling me how to interpret it.  I wanted to interpret it for myself with my own thoughts.

And I found that if you actually do this - the bible is one of the most horrific things ever written.  It's a bad snuff novel filled with torture, slavery, genocide, racism, misogyny, homophobia, and constantly pushes the reader to hate people outside their religious group. Yes, the New Testament gets softer, but even that part preaches a fair amount of hate and intolerance.

So I decided - "I'm still not sure if I believe in A God, but a g-damned sure don't believe in THAT God.  He's a MONSTER."

Now, since then, I've become a full-on atheist.  I consider my full-read of the bible to have hastened me towards that...though it wasn't the exact end of the journey.
