Have you read the whole bible?

It doesnt matter what religion you are. Or if youre an atheist. I am just curious if there are people out there who actually read the Bible because apparently I am the only one I know who has read it. What is the reason you read it?

I read it completely once, and another time I skipped through the "Begats" but reread the rest.

    I'm atheist

Yah, it took me a year and half.  The second time it took 3 years.  The third time it took me ten years.  I'm not on a good run.

I read a ton of it because I was tired of the priest going over the same parts over and over and skipping over all the rest of it. And I had heard the rest of it wasn't very wholesome at all and I was questioning my faith. I'm an atheist now, so you can understand how that went.

Twice. Made it through the Bhagavad Gita once, and am working on the Qur'an presently.

I read it when I was young. I wanted to see if there were actually any wisdom in it. The Book of Job is slightly sophisticated, but beyond that nothing really

If I want to read a work of fiction, I'll read Harry Potter again.

A large portion. I plan to reread the whole thing over the next 2 years.
