My employer hasn't paid us in 2 weeks. Somebody give me legal advice please.I can't work for free anymore.?

I work for a construction company and none of us has gotten our checks for the past 2 weeks. Once a week all the foremen of our company have a meeting at the office and they get our checks so they can give them to us the next day. But for the past 2 weeks they haven't had those meetings. We have all called the office and they didn't answer until recently saying we will be getting them this week. But I don't think I trust them anymore. If I don't get paid tomorrow like I'm supposed to, what legal action can we take to get our money? Is there a number we can report the company to? We live in Texas. Other people are thinking of quiting and I am looking into finding another job but would like to get my money as I have bills coming up. If anyone here knows what legal action I can take by all means, tell me. I will appreciate any advice you can give me. Thanks.

You have to give them 30 days, then you can go to the state labor board. You could go now but they'll tell you to wait 30 days.

Sounds like the company is going under - you'll be lucky to get paid. Look for another job.
