Are the standard Macbook Pro Retinas (15inch) SSD drives?
I'm trying to figure out if the Macbook Pro Retinas (pref 15inch) are SSD drives or normal hard drives. Could someone let me know. I notice that you can upgrade the standard Macbook Pros to SSD but no option in the retinas to upgrade to the SSD hard drives. Thanks

Yes. The Retina MacBooks come standard with Flash storage (SSD). The 13 comes with 128GB and the 15 comes with 256GB.
Both can be configured to 768GB.

The retina MacBook Pros use proprietary blade-style SSDs, not the standard type.
