It's a good question -- while Venus and Pluto isn't necessarily associated with "sudden" romance, the square to Uranus in Aries, as you mention, does include that possibility. Pluto tends to keep Venus hostage, until issues associated with romance and relating are purged, willingly or not. So there are probably a lot of people right now who are really confronting old patterns. This could mean ex's coming back on the scene for the purpose of clarity, healing and a deep "let go" or just working through our own skewed beliefs or self-imposed limitations on your own. Therefore, there will be some temporary relief with the financial markets. Would not be surprise to hear of another big takeover with companies. Capricorn can be in mundane astrology about global takeovers, corporations. Remember that these are transits, and how they hit a personal chart will be different to each of us. So in regards to romance that would be more personal, and would have to show up in our charts.

If anything to do with romance on a public concept, we may hear about a long term union breaking up. Long term (saturn) union (venus) breaking up (pluto sq uranus).

I have Neptune and Moon right on my Ascendant, so I'm going to say ahead of time that it's difficult to separate these natal conjunctions in describing transit Pluto conjunct all of them. Since my MC is ruled by the Moon, and I have Pluto in the 10th house natal, I went through drastic changes in my career and values. Pluto rules my 2nd house, and transit Uranus was conjunct the cusp of my 2nd, at the same time that transit Pluto was conjunct natal Ascendant, Moon and Neptune. I had changed my mind several times about what I wanted to do, looking for where I would finally feel settled and content. I was having issues because I had been hospitalized many times, and I was seeing a different viewpoint of the medical world. When Pluto was exact conjunct my Ascendant, Neptune and Moon, it suddenly occurred to me that I wanted to switch to physical sciences. That was to shape my life and career forever. I think we would need to know what all is going to be aspected in your chart, but just from the Pluto transiting your 1st and Neptune, you're going to become much more assertive about what you want. Edit: As I stated before, there are many conjunctions and reciprocal aspects in my chart, so when transits hit my natal planets, there's more than one aspect going on.

uranus / pluto aspects are longlasting, so i don't think we should use that for romance.
