how do you ace an essay without reading the book?
let me explain. our teacher has us read any book we want over the card marking.then she gives us a random prompt everyone has to write on, supporting the prompt with evidence from our book. i didn't finish my book because i guess i lazed off this entire card marking, i have a ton of other homework today, my book is 330 pages long and i have only 30 pages read. the essay is tomorrow. i was thinking of going on sparknotes and looking it up.
can someone tell me what water for elephants is all about? that would be helpful.
and how do i ace an essay on a book im not halfway through?

Read, read, and read. You can finish the book if you start right now. I've read 800 page books in 5-6 hours, so it shouldn't take you more than 2 hours to read the book.
