I got 7 and one over six, and I just want to know if I'm doing it right.

5/6 divided by 1/3 = 5/6 x 3/1 = 15 /6 = 2 3/6 = 2 1/2
Use the reciprocal ( opposite) of the second fraction and multiply

I got 15/6 because you can't divide a fraction by a fraction, so I multiplied 5/6 by the reciprocal of 1/3 so that would be 3 and got 15/6

5/6 / 1/3
when dividing fractions you just multiply the opposite of the second fraction so it would be 5/6 * 3/1
which is 15/6 or 2 1/2
