Wireless Hard Drive Suggestions?
I would like to get a wireless hard drive for my house. However I really do not know anything about them. Basically what I want it for is to store movies and music, large files and be able to access them through any computer in the house. We do have wifi in my house.
I was also wondering do you have to plug this in to anything or is it completely wireless?
Does anyone have any suggestions on affordable brands or models that work well for them? Thank you!

If you have a desktop computer (one that doesn't move around), then I'd recommend just getting a USB attached external HDD and connect it to that. Then in Windows, share that drive with the network. All computers on the network will be able to access it. That is what I have. I have all photos and media (music/video) on this drive, as well as a off box backup drive.
Personally I've not tried any of the network attached storage devices available on the "consumer market". I had a bad experience with a Netgear print server appliance - so I stick with the tried and true.
Another consideration is something new to the consumer market called home servers. Microsoft has one - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/product... - personally I'd consider that over buying a NAS. Look at CNET.com for reviews.
