My Shoe's GREEN!! Help?
Ok so I was trying to clean my white high-tops this past Sunday and I used all the right stuff. And when I was reading the proper instructions on how to clean white converse I saw that you're supposed to put plastic bags inside them to help keep their shape. I did that and put them i the garage to dry. The next day i went out there to see that one of my shoes turned green.. and I later found out that it was one of the plastic bags who was the culprit of this misdeed. So um is there any advice anybody can give to me to return my monster shoe back to normal..? Thanks, I'd really appreciate it. :)

Pour isopropyl rubbing alcohol over the green marks. Let that sit a minute or two and wash the shoes in your washing machine.
Remove the laces first. This is important because the laces can get caught in the holes in your washer and cause major problems. (You can wash the laces by hand, if you'd like.)
Wash using the cold water setting. Use regular laundry detergent, and add some towels for cushioning. The shoes will bump around inside your washer, but this is harmless.
After washing, open the tongue area up and set out to air dry. Air-drying is important because machine-drying can deform the soles.
And make sure you use isopropyl rubbing alcohol...you want the rubbing alcohol that is 91% alcohol. The regular rubbing alcohol isn't powerful enough to remove the marks. You can buy isopropyl rubbing alcohol at any drug store.
Hope this helps.
