Do you think being a member of Congress is an easy job?

It can be, if you choose not to take your jobs seriously, like half of Congress does.

Although, there are still some in Congress, such as John Duncan, who take their job very seriously and I doubt they have an easy time doing it.

They don't seem to do much , get paid a lot , make lots of connections for a fortune in side money , get 6 weeks or more paid vacation and better medical coverage and pension than those of us in Medicare and SS.

Yes , I'd say it's a lot easier than what most of us do .

When done properly, not at all.

When handled carelessly like 90% of them do, yeah it's a walk in the park.

exempt from insider trading laws

a lucrative retirement/health care package

passing laws without even reading them

and 0 accountability to constituents

yep, sounds pretty easy to me.

Too easy, or it has been for too long. Now they are being watched and hopefully working a bit harder.

The hardest part is keeping your soul. In that context, it's pretty difficult apparently.

Did you know our government was founded on a weak federal government??????/

If we were to have a stable government, we need more political parties.

For what they do, where they eat, how they live, what they're paid, and what they get in return?
