Doc told me I have blighted ovum at 9.5 weeks.....any way it could be misdiagnosed?

They said my uterus is tilted so maybe theres a chance that they just couldnt find the fetus? I did see a small empty black sack on the screen though. Im going on 11 weeks now with this diagnosis, but have had NO bleeding. Has this happened to you?

Retroverted ("tilted") uterus doesn't mean anything other than it's a normal variant. You saw a gestational sac and if there was an embryo/fetus in there, they would have seen it.

Not all women bleed the same amount or at the same time when they miscarry.

And ignore the first poster who said it was your ovaries - ovaries are not located in the uterus and they look very different from gestational sacs.

I had this 3 years ago unfortunately it isn't a miss diagnosis . At 10 weeks the baby would be so easy to see . I never had bleeding with mine till the m.c started . Im sorry,it's actually very common .

I have a tilted uterus, but they found my baby just fine. Did you take a blood pregnancy test to confirm that you are in fact pregnant? A sac could just be your ovaries.
