I'm not covered by car insurance by my parents insurance, I still live at home,..?

They don't allow me to drive the cars because I'm not covered. Can I drive the car when it's in another house that they own?

What your parents most likely did was that they Excluded you out of their auto policy. I honestly don't know you and please don't take anything here personal, but some of the reasons for exclusions from auto policies are: you might have a bad driving record (reckless driving, DUI, suspended license, etc.), they simply don't want you in their policy, or you are of young age and have been involved in an accident that the insurance company see's you as a high risk, and raise the policy premium by several hundred dollars.

What does it mean when you get excluded from an insurance policy? Means that if you drive your parents car regardless of where the car is located and a catastrophic event happens (does not matter if it is comprehensive or collision loss), the insurance company will not pay any claims due to the fact that you are not enrolled on their insurance policy.

What I would recommend you since you still live with your parent's , is to talk with them, ask them if you can be added again in the insurance policy, if they say no, tell them, hey let's quote with another insurance company that might take me as a risk, there are alot of insurance companies out there that will take you, you just need to shop around. Progressive is one that will basically insure anyone regardless of claim history and if you have had DUI or not. Be aware, if you do have a bad driving history, your premium will be high.

    Drive safely my friend.

No. There's no such thing as "free insurance" for a kid just because you're playing musical cars. If you're not covered, you're not covered, regardless of WHERE the car is at the moment.

No. You cannot drive any car, anywhere in the country, that is owned by a person who lives in the same place as you live, even if the car is somewhere else.

Incidentally, you do know that you can't drive a car while it's in a house, for obvious reasons?

If they don't want you driving.

You are not going to be driving anything.

You are an adult. Get a job, and get your own car insurance.

Call their car insurance company and ask -- but I doubt it.

Are you working? If so, why not just pay them what it costs to add you to their insurance?

It is possible, however I am not certain
