If Libertarians took over the world, who would notice?

Indeed.

Everyone who has ever thought "there oughtta be a law", about something so trivial and insignificant, would notice. And people think like that all the time.

Take a look at ReasonTV's Nanny of the Month feature. Those are people who would be in more shock than an electrocution, if libertarians took over the world.

See, that's where you distinguish between libertarianism and libertarians. I, for one, would be very afraid if you put Ayn Rand anywhere near the White House and, in particular, a certain red button. She's bound to have a hissy-fit about "irrational collectivist dogmas" and "initiation of force" at some point, which might just lead her to "retaliate in kind," if you know what I mean.

And, heck, I agree with half her policy prescriptions and a third of her philosophy.

everyone paying taxes or doing time despite causing absolutely no harm.

That really all depends on who is 'awake' and who is still sleeping.
