Are you familiar with the phrase "Don't bite the hand that feeds you."?

Well, alligators aren't. And do you want to spend of your life with the nickname "Lefty"?

Seriously, the gator might not look at you as food, but small children and dogs look like prey.

Do you know how big an alligator gets?

Do you know how territorial they are?

What about when it gets old enough to feel the desire to procreate? You can't exactly take the beast to the vet to get it spayed or neutered.

This is a very, very, very bad idea.

No. You can maybe gain its trust enough for it to let you hold it, but it will still think you're noms.

No when it gets old it will just look at you as another possible meal.
