Why does my comcast package have multiple of the same channel?
I'm upset because I just got cable installed last week and now that it's finally set up (had many many customer service problems) I've noticed that I have the same channel more than once.
In other words, I have two-three seperate networks that have the same tv lineup.
Why should I pay to watch the same show on 3 different channels (none of which are HD copies)? And is there anything I can do to get rid of all my spanish channels, I have 4 (and none of them are HD) I have the regular digital economy package so it's not like I have some premium account

Comcast gives you your local channels plus more. If you had an antenna you would still have the repeat of the same channels. It is not something that comcast controls. They are just sending you what you would get with an antenna plus.
