Question about the Marine Corps?
Say i get a high ASVAB score and a gt score of around 105. Would i still be able to become an 0311 if i sign an infantry contract? I heard that if you have high gt scored they might assign you to lav crew or assultman. Could i still be an 0311? Do i have any say?

Many 0311Marines have high asvab scores.
During ITB you may or may not be allowed to pick your exact job. Most infantry Marines do pick their exact job, but from time to time some Marines will be forced into one of the other infantry MOS's.

You can choose the infantry field, but you're assigned your specific MOS based on the needs of the Corps/
