Xbox 360 Kinect on older xbox 360?

I got the Kinect bundle for Christmas and I gave my old Xbox to my little brother. I don't use the Kinect and he would like it. I know that you need a power cord for it to work on older systems, but do you need to get a new Kinect sensor or can he use mine?

    there is no other kinect just a black one and a white one

    Yes, it's suitable with the older XBox 360's and plugs in like any other USB device. The brand new XBox 360 S has a specified port for the Kinect nonetheless going for walks it off the USB port doesn't have any negative affect on its efficiency.

    he should be able to use yours just fine, so long as he has the power cord.
