If Obama believes the 2nd Amendment is an individual right, why do you think it's a collective one?

I'm of course addressing Liberals who seem to think that we have this one and only one collective right.

"I believe the Second Amendment guarantees an individual right to bear arms." President Obama.

    I don't disagree with Obama.

What is this about conservatives that you need to constantly tell us what we believe and then demand an explanation for it.

If you spent half as much effort understanding what liberals advocate as you do on these strawman arguments and gotcha traps you might actually have something of substance to contribute.

Good when you appear at at any place else within the constitution or the invoice of rights, when the founding fathers have been refering to the folks as being collective, they refered to the states, now not "the persons." on the grounds that the purpose for having the 2nd amendment in light of being after a violent revolution, it used to be to give the humans the capability to chalenge and be free FROM the state, now not freedom OF the state. Hence they then had to have intended that it is an person right. Far and wide else that "individuals" is used, it's refering to freedoms from the federal government.

I disagree with him. Just because I'm a liberal doesn't mean I have to agree with Obama on everything.

It clearly says "a well regulated militia".

Wait, now we're required to agree with everything President Obama says because we're liberals? Someone forgot to tell me. I'm glad you could clear that up for me.

Part of being liberal is the ability to think for yourself. I disgree with his statement.

Gee, maybe the idea that Obama wants to take your guns is a paranoid fantasy after all, as we've been saying for years.

Just out of curiosity...how can the President and Vice President take an oath to support and defend the Constitution if they don't want to support and defend the 2nd Amendment to it?
