what can air dry clay stick to?
i am sculpting something out of air dry modeling clay, but I need a base for the sculpture.
would wood work? if no what else can I use?

oops i meant i DO want it to stick. i want the clay to adhere to something i just don't know what materials it will stick to. :c

It won't stick to much of anything, especially as it shrinks while drying, thus pulling free if it apparently stuck during making.
Let it dry and use PVA wood glue (Elmers) or GOOP adhesives.

yes wood would work. i did this in art class and it didnt stick.
