    A couple things:

    a) Carter only did one term. You mean Obama's second term.

    b) Let me guess where you were between 1976 and 1980... An ovum in someone's ovary.

You don't remember Carter's term, thus you don't know how much better Obama's presidency has been. Carter went on to be a really awesome guy, but in office he took some serious knocks (and the hostage situation in Iran didn't help him at all). Obama can't compare.

astonishing the only actual distinction between Obama's approaches and Bush's approaches is that Obama close-down Gitmo which hasn't had an impact yet. I dont think of of it concerns which president regardless of the shown reality that it concerns what the terrorists do. no one replace into finding forward to 9/eleven under Bush yet we are extra arranged now. There even have been terrorist attaks such by way of reality the citadel Hood attack. distinctive tried assaults have been foiled such by way of reality the undies bomber by way of reality of heightened protection. A logical answer on your question must be that Bush had an 8 3 hundred and sixty 5 days term and Obama hasnt even had a 2 3 hundred and sixty 5 days term yet and thank you to this there have been extra assaults. Terrorists had time beyond regulation to devote them under Bush. yet i think of of you have been finding for a distinctive answer approximately how Bush replace into an fool and Obama is spectacular and thank you to this there have been "extra" terrorist assaults.

Elana, I bet you aren't very old.

The unemployment now is better than when Carter was president. One more year under Carter and it WOULD'VE been a 2nd Great Depression.

I don't care if the statistics say. I've seen statistics saying better and worse than now, under Carter, that is. I know from conversations and experience.

    I concur with Bob.

Carter was a far better President than Reagan.

Reagan succeeded in making the country feel good about itself - good.

In all other ways, domestic and foreign policy, he was appalling.

Carter was guilty of telling the country the cold hard truth which apparently it couldn't handle, at least not at the time.

The list of things that Carter put in place that Reagan took credit for was enormous. The list of things that Reagan screwed up for that didn't stick to him is equally enormous (he was often referred to during his term as the teflon President).

And of course, almost causing World War III certainly goes on the list of oopsies: Look up "Stanislov Petrov" if you don't believe me.

I wouldn't mind another Carter term. You shouldn't either.

I'm fairly certain Jimmy Carter was only president once.

Oh my! Still smarting from your failure to make Obama a one-term President? Frankly, we would have been much better off with another term from Carter than having Reagan elected!
