how do you start up and drive a murcielago?
my cousin recently bought a 2008 lamborghini murcielago lp640 but he does not know how to start it up and drive, he also mentioned that when you put the key in the hole, it wont turn physically and cannot start the engine. He also does not know how to use the E-gear thing inside. Please give me a detailed description on how to start the engine and how to drive it.

foot on brake to start the car. you may also have to engage park or neutral. unlike regular automatic gearboxes, proper e-gear transmissions like the ones found in the lamborghini murcielago actually have a computer controlled clutch rather than a fluid torque converter. this means that all movements will be more extreme as the computer has a harder time controlling the directness of a clutch over the smoothness of a torque converter. after the car has started pull on the raise gear paddle (the right one which if you don't know about you shouldn't drive the car until a professional teaches you how) the screen markings showing the current gear should show 1 for first gear. at this point you can take your foot off the brake and apply gentle pressure on the accelerator. when driving around normally shift up before 3500 RPMs for about 30 minutes until the engine has warmed up. pushing a high performance engine after a cold start is really bad as the sudden expansion will destroy the integrity of either the engine block or the pistons. always downshift in a straight line and at low RPMs until you get used to the e gear. failing to do so may cause an early downshift and cause the wheels to lock up. turning while shifting can upset the car's balance and possibly make you skid unexpectedly.
Edit 01: found this for you. its for a different car but the systems are the same.
