Why is Diablo 3s rating lower that Diablo 2:Lord of destruction?

Because it's nowhere near as good

Sure it's pretty but it's easy, homogenous, and samey, they removed all the fun from it and just made an action smash-em-up that goes nowhere. There's no end game, no magic find runs, mutliplayer was seriously nerfed, they made it so the only worthwhile thing to do is running through the storyline by yourself..

Diablo 3 is casualized, oversimplified garbage for the call of responsibility crowd. Diablo 2 is for players who don't want a sport to patronize them and spoonfeed the action to them.

no offline play, and so forced updates/buffs/nerfs and inconvenience... and stupid low drop rates!
