Contaminated vs clean aluminum scrap value?
I have a ribbed aluminum floor to a semi trailer cut up into peices rdy for scrap, but there is foam insulation crap stuck on the bottom of a bunch of peices and its a pain in the *** to get off so i was wondering how much i would lose by just scrapping it with the insulation still on? And how much do you think i can get for it? Its 42' x 8'

Prices vary by area but where I live
Clean aluminum $.40/lb
Dirty aluminum $.15/lb
Whether it is worth it depends on how much time you have free and how much energy you want to spend.
