How to reopen a question to give an actual correct answer after it's been mis-labeled "resolved"?

It's nice that people try to help by posting their ideas of answers, but I see so many that have not been correctly answered. Any way to get it reopened for a right answer?

Resolved doesn't mean answered correctly. It just means resolved. No one in 7 years has convinced Yahoo to change how they do things for them and their better answer. You can leave a comment, and if the asker has open email or IM you can contact them that way.

Hellll no. Once a question has been Resolved it stays Resolved. Yahoo! does not re-open questions.

A Question is considered "Resolved" when a Best Answer is chosen. Period. End of discussion.

The question and answers - including the Best Answer - can be reported and deleted if found to be in violation of the TOS or Community Guidelines. If the Best Answer is reported and deleted the entire question is removed. But it is not considered a violation if you do not agree with the Best Answer or don't like the Best Answer.

But i think there are times when a Best Answer can be reported for being factually incorrect. i've given a few entirely made up answers and sometimes got Best Answer for them. Later the question was removed but i never did recieve a violation notice.

    Heehee! Hope i helped. xoxo

You can't. Once closed, questions cannot be answered. You can type your answer in the Comments Box but there's no guaranty that the asker will return to see it.

There is no way to reopen it. You can add a comment but I doubt anyone will see it. The option is on the action bar.
