From Xbox to PC it's pretty easy as they're based on the same architecture. Porting a game from the ps3 to the PC, though, is ridiculously different. The entire game needs to be re-coded to run on PC architecture instead of Sony's absolutely terrible Cell Processor architecture (which uses seven single-threaded cores and only one multi-threaded core).
Even if it were an x360 game, though, you need access to the code through a dev kit to be able to do a port like that, and x360 dev kits are around $25,000 (or were when they first came out).
The closest thing you can do is run the game through an emulator, but ps3 emulators are all terrible (for the same reason as porting games to/from a ps3 is difficult, the architecture is completely out of whack)
Sorry mate, the only way to play ni no kuni is to buy a ps3 (or get the Japanese-only DS version and teach yourself to pera pera the ol' nihongo)
