Since god does not seem to have a measurable influence on the Universe, does it matter whether he exists?

This is similar to asking if it matters that extraterrestrial civilizations exist. Currently we have no way to detect anything that exists outside of tgis universe much less measure it.

The problem with science is that it only works on subjects that can be tested, measured, and verified empirically. Humans are under the assuption that God must appeal to one or all of our 5 senses to exist.

Whether or not you choose to believe isnt as important as how you treat the people around you.

What if I told you that God created Bing Bang and started whole Universe and is just observing it without His interference?

How our nowadays machines work. All is programmed, prepared and only what it require is a push of start button.

What if God is not a living being but a personification of our believes about creativity? Therefore he is everywhere or nowhere.

Science can't explain from where the matter that exploded appeared, believers believe it was higher power's influence in it.

Our race should be looking after the planet we life on, nurture it and help it heal instead of looking into to stars and wasting billions out there.

GOD created everything and he cares about it but all that is not important WILL ALL THAT UNIVERSE STUFF HELP YOU GET TO HEAVEN??? NO, and also it would not help you escape GOD'S judgement at your last day!!!
