Some one just made that claim. I was wondering how they could say that after Reagan and the two Bushes.

People who pay their bills have money.
This is not a partisan thing. There are broke-a$$ Republicans and there are wealthy Democrats. The division is whether the person who can pay their bills is willing to help those who cannot pay their bills... seems that, if you listen to the rhetoric given by people in the parties, Republicans keep the wealth to themselves and Democrats look out for other people.

On average, they are in fact more likely to be.
After all, for more than 100 consecutive years now, ONLY Republicans EVER delivered falling deficits; ONLY Republicans EVER balanced a budget; ONLY Republican even PROPOSED a budget plan that COULD EVER ALLOW balance to be reached.
