What is this tire size in inches?

I hear guys talk about 32" tires, or 36" tires, etc. Is that just the height of the tire? I've got a truck with 325/65 R18s on it. What is that tire in inches? Thanks, in advance, for your help.

Your tires' diameter is 34.6 inches (35 in round numbers).

Here's how to interpret a tire size:

325: the tread width in millimeters

65: the height of the sidewall, as a percentage of the tread width (65%)

    R: Radial (type of tire)

18: the diameter of the wheel ("rim") it will fit.
