I have a 1992 GMC Sierra, half ton, 4 WD with a 5.7 motor and automatic transmission. It has 140K miles on it.

Earlier this year it felt like it was slipping in reverse. It got to the point where it would barely reverse at all. When it would reverse, it was really slow. I could mash the gas but it would just barely go....if it would go at all. I had the fluid changed and added an automatic transmission restorer. It didn't change anything.

One day it just wouldn't go, and I had it in a spot where it was stuck and I had no room to get my other truck behind it to pull it. It was facing downhill a bit and me and a buddy couldn't even push it. I got mad and put it in reverse and mashed the gas for several seconds. It started going.....faster and faster until it was reversing at top speed. For several months after that it worked completely fine.....like new. But now it's starting to do the slow reverse thing again.

Does anyone have an idea of what it could be. I don't want to put another transmission in it if it could be a simpler fix.

It is brand new. It had 10 hours on it when I parked it last November. I went to start it today. It cranks, but won't fire. It has 22 horse V-Twin Briggs. Both plugs have fire.

I disconnected the fuel line between the fuel pump and carburetor. It squirts fuel when I crank it.

I drained all the gas out of it and filled it with fresh gas.

Still nothing. It cranks like a champ, but doesn't even try to fire. Any suggestions? I had zero problems with it last summer.

My wife brought it home and said the battery light was on and it was making a strange noise. ( I replaced the battery and alternator 10 months ago. ) The alternator was buzzing, so I took it to the parts store. They said it was charging at 30 volts, and was defective. I installed a new alternator but the battery light is still on. I have 12.1 volts from the battery.

I drove it around for about 15 minutes with the lights on. I got it back and the battery was still at 12.1 volts, but the voltage gauge in the cab says low. Shouldn't it be reading closer to 13 volts?

Let's say that one conjoined twin, with the most control of the pair's limbs, murdered someone. Do they send her to prison, even though the innocent twin would be punished too? Could the courts force them to be separated, even if there was a huge chance for one, or both to die?

I went to the speedtest website and ran a few tests over a few minutes. My internet speed was between 6.50 and 7.70 mbps.

My expected download speed was between 820.2 and 985.5 kb/sec.

I have cable internet.

Driver side rear brake is stuck. It's not the emergency brake. There is no movement of the caliper when you press the brake pedal and the brake pedal is really hard.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I'm living in an older home. There is a 5 bulb, hanging light in the kitchen. I want to replace it.

In the junction box, there are 5 black wires, and 5 white wires, and then the ground wire. The new light is just 2 wires and a ground.

Do I just twist all the black wires together, and all the white wires together and then hook them up to the new light's black and white wires? I'm pretty sure that's how to do it, but would like to be sure.

I hear guys talk about 32" tires, or 36" tires, etc. Is that just the height of the tire? I've got a truck with 325/65 R18s on it. What is that tire in inches? Thanks, in advance, for your help.

How do you get to Lok'nor Bloodfist? He's the vendor of Dreadful gear, on the wall between Townlong Steppes and Kun-Lai Summit, in Pandaria. Do I have to be able to fly there, or is there a way to get up on the wall from a grounded mount?

I have one very large goldfish that's having some issues. I was told to use the Jungle Lab's "Lifeguard All In One Treatment". I also have a small sucker fish in the tank with him. He's scaleless, and the package says the product isn't suitable for scaleless fish. Does that mean it will harm him, or just wouldn't work if he was the sick fish? I don't want to pull the goldfish out to treat it, if the tank is infected and needs to be treated also. Does anyone know if I can just use this product in the aquarium with both fish in it, or will it harm the sucker fish?

My wife had her laptop connected to our flat screen TV. She was using a wireless keyboard and mouse. Her cat jumped on the keyboard. Whatever it did, it made the picture look all screwed up, and flipped it upside down. I restarted it, and it fixed that problem. Now, though, all the TV will show, when she turns the laptop on, is her wall paper. It doesn't show any of her desktop icons. When she opens a web page, or anything, on the computer, all the TV shows is her wall paper. Does anyone have any idea what's going on, and how I might fix it? (The computer works fine now.)

I used to be able to click on the "Hi Ron" tab in the upper left corner of my yahoo page, then click "profile" and have it bring up the posts I've made in news or sports articles. Now all it brings up is my screen name and avatar. Has yahoo quit providing you access to your posts?

I recently ran PCmatic on my computer and had it fix some things to make it run better. I've used it before and never had any problems. But this time it seems to have made changes to my monitor settings.

The resolution is changed, and now things don't fit the way they used to. I've been to the "View" tab and raised the zoom rate. I've used the buttons on the monitor to set it back to factory settings. I've right clicked my desktop and tried every resolution setting in the "Display Settings". Nothing will put it back to the way it was before.

The biggest thing that frustrates me is that things that open in pop ups don't fill the whole pop up anymore. Example: I play texas holdem on pogo sometimes. When I click on a game room it opens in a pop up. The game room used to fill the whole pop up box, but now it only fills a portion of the top left corner of it.

I'm hoping one of you computer geniuses can set me straight. Otherwise I guess I try my luck at a system restore. Any info will be MUCH appreciated.

When I try to advance from the "scoring settings" page, it says "You must provide a valid League ID#. (Error #623)". Does anyone know what that's all about and how I can fix it?

Would you suggest Mining / Engineering, or Herbalism / Alchemy? Your reasons for you choice would be appreciated.
