    If sin > 0 and tan < 0 you are in quadrant 2 so cos and cot will be negative too. By soh cah toa,

    sine is opposite / hypotenuse so if opposite = 1 and hypotenuse = 4,

    by Pythagorean adjacent = √15.

    so cos = adj/hyp = -√15 / 4

    cot = adj/opp = -√15 / 1
