Need utility bills, but all done online?

Have a job interview and they are demanding proof of address via utility bills '''sent to the house'' but I do everything online. They said I couldn't print anything off the Net either! Suggestions as to how to get around this silly problem, please.

Any idea how 'in date' a bill has to be, as I do have a bank statement from six months ago before I went 'online'?

I can prove who I am, but not where I live.

Update:

hairy, I am grateful for your help but read the above question again. ''They said I couldn't print anything off the Net''

Update 2:

Thanks MW, I had thought of calling or emailing the utility providers and asking for hard copies, but the trouble is that the interview is tomorrow and I was only advised of it on Friday, which is why I am panicking a little. I haven't even been able to call the company and ask what they advise!

Perhaps your drivers license, state I.D. or other items would suffice. Go through whatever mail you get that is addressed to you and find something.

Or call the utility companies and ask them to send a hard copy of your last bill.

When you call the utility companies to have things turned on (like electricity), you give them your mailing address. Bills will come to you in the mail once a month and you can either write a check and mail it in with the bill stub; pay it at the utility company's accounting office; or pay it online if the utility company has a webpage. Also, in many towns, there is one central location where you can pay a few different bills. For example, in my hometown, you can pay your phone bill and your electric bill at the bank. Your utility company will let you know what locations, if any, are available to you to pay in person. Hope this helps!

syou have obviously set up an online account for your utilities.

first log in to your account. if you forgot your password, there is usually somewhere (usually below the login that says "forgot your password"

once you are in your account look for your illing history. from that you should be able to print bills from seversl months back
