My Bff does this--what does it mean?
My bff is a guy and we talk pretty much constantly. We don't like each other besides as friends. But we most the time don't act like friends and act closer than friends. Like people that don't know us think were dating but we honestly aren't into each other like that. Well I talk to him and a bunch of girls who are old enough to be my mom, grandma, and a few more around my age. and I always tell my girl friends "Xoxoxo" when we say goodbye. And last night my bff kept texting me after I told him I was sleeping. I was really tired so I wasn't really with it so I said "I had the strangest urge to say 'xoxoxo' but you don't do that like everyone else I talk to. Lol" and he didn't say anything back to that but kept talking about everything else. And hes done that a few other times but not with anything like that. We find it very awkward to talk about things like that. I even decided if we were the last two people on earth I would "accidentally" kill him so we wouldn't have to reproduce. But he didn't say "yeah I would do the same." His reply to that was "jerk. Why?" I do the same ignoring thing with him too because I don't like it when I get complemented and he's done it a lot recently. And so has his other best friend who I'm not friends with.
Do you think he ignores certain things like that because he finds its awkward like I do?

i think you two like each other =p i have kind of the same thing with my best friend, shes a girl im the guy. But we talked about it and decided later on when we are adults that maybe we could be together. You should talk to him about that. its going to be awkward trust me ..... Still best friends make the best couples because you know each other =)

Ok, to the xoxo thing? He is a guy! He doesn't care about things like that and probably does not even think of them. Either he did not think he even had to reply to it or maybe he was in the middle of typing a text when he got yours and did not feel like starting over just to answer you. But yeah, he's a guy, if you brought it up he probably wouldn't even remember that you texted him that. As for the second thing, first maybe you are misinterpreting how he inflected it. Maybe he meant it in a funny way? LIke, haha Jerk! Why on earth would you do that?" Second of all, you WERE saying how you would kill him. He probably did not even think of it as, 'oh I see she would kill me so we wouldn't have to reproduce, that makes sense because that would be weird'. He probably sees it as, "What the heck? I though we were best friends and here she is saying she would kill me?!? That is jerky!" Remember, guys think differently than girls do. I hope I was able to help. Again, remember guys have a different mind set than girls, they think of pretty much everything differently.
