Why does xbox 360 network need to be disconnected and password re-entered for it to connect?

I got a new wi-fi (MiFi4620LE JetPack).. I did have a MiFi2200 and did not have any problems with Xbox automatically connecting to it. With the new MiFi, Xbox can "see" it but it will not connect until I disconnect it and re-enter the password. It will stay connected until i turn off the xbox 360. Once I turn on the xbox again i have to go through the process of disconnecting manually re-enter the password.

Is there any way to correct this?

It sounds like a 'handshake' issue, when two computers 'meet' they connect by exchanging passwords, your original wi-fi was introduced to the Xbox following all the installation instructions so that it worked properly. I am guessing that you just unplugged the old and replaced it with the new, possibly just using the same name and password so it would work but you may well have missed a step or two in the process. I suggest you disconnect and reinstall the wi-fi with new credentials then re-introduce the Xbox.

Good luck, i think this will help.
