How to get into MARSOC without Force Recon?
Is there a way to:
1. Get into MARSOC without being in Recon/Force Recon?
2. Get into MARSOC as a Lance Corporal?
How hard is it to get into MARSOC this way?
Thanks in advance

MARSOC is entirely seperate from Recon and has nothing to do with it.
Recon will accept any rank. MARSOC will accept LCPL if you will be a CPL by the end of your training.
There's only one way to get into MARSOC and it isn't easy.
Prior to attending ASPOC Marines are highly encouraged to follow the 10 week training guide. At a minimum, Marines should complete the first 7 weeks of the guide in order to support the physical rigors of the program. Minimum physical fitness standards to enter MARSOC will not guarantee success during the entire A&S process. A&S highly encourages Marines to have the ability to run a 250 or higher PFT, possess aquatic skills and be able to maintain a 4 mph (15 minute mile) pace with a 45 pound rucksack in 3 hours and 30 minutes or less. During ASPOC Marines will be given fitness goals and receive professional education on fitness, resiliency and nutrition to achieve maximum fitness results.

You apply after you have met the requirment of becoming a outstanding Marine. Force Recon is 2 Companies, MARSOC is 2 Regiments

1. you do not have to be recon or force recon to get into marsoc
2. LCpl must be highly qualified to get into marsoc -- which means they must be recon
