Gaming Computer Components...?
I was recommended by a friend of mine that these components should be enough to run most of today's games on high settings:

If I bought these and put them together in the white case as shown, would I be able to run most of today's games on high settings? Thanks a lot!
@John - Would this one be any better?

Bump that power supply up to about 650w and you'll be fine.
***EDIT***
As requested, yes corsair makes fine power supplies and 600w should do you fine.
Like the response above mine I am also a long-time fan of EVGA graphics cards, have used them in every system I've built over the last 6-7 years. EVGA performance and longevity is absolutely unmatched. I have no personal experience nor have I read anything negative about gigabyte so I have no opinion negative or positive on their graphics cards.

They're all great for gaming. If you want to get an Nvidia graphics card, you should get it from EVGA. EVGA works very closely with Nvidia to make their cards. So, EVGA will work better than other 3rd party members that distribute Nvidia Cards.
