Jesus v.s. Commander Shepard?

Commander Shepard, captain of the Normandy, is far superior to Jesus. Hes from a video game? Well Jesus is from a book. As far as i'm concerned, they're both fictional characters. And Shepard, along with the Mass Effect series, is a far better source of inspiration and morality then anything found in the Bible.

Any of these videos will surely prove my point.

The books of the Bible are dated, as are the moral lessons contained within. Commander Shepard is a better role model because he's more relevant in the current era.

As morality goes, Shepard offers different perspectives. There's both the paragon and renegade route, showing that you can achieve greatness either through compassion, or through the Machiavellian approach, following the motto "the end justifies the means."

Jesus, on the other hand, inspired a religion that has been known to pillage, rape and murder in the name of a deity. He may have suffered from mental illness.

The mass effect series took a lot inspiration from the bible. You don't get more points for repeating the same story twice. I think I'll give this one to the Christians.

    Well, don't just SIT there!

    Start writing a Pslam!

"The Shepard is my Lord; I shall not want...." etc

    Source(s): I like a good pun, but I love a bad pun.
