Can you recommend a goats cheese that is not too strong and "goaty" flavoured?

I hate goats cheese but when I hate a food I always like to try it a few times just to make sure I do hate it, tastes change after all. I have found the cheeses I have tasted either taste like manky goat or like the smell of a goat pen, perhaps they are too strong? Can you recommend a mild one that might change my mind? B/F loves goats cheese and I want to make him a goats cheese and caramelized onion tart this weekend and does it taste different when cooked? Like blue cheese is so much nicer when it is cooked!

Fromartharie brand Rosey Goat Cheese imported from Spain. Great crushed rosemary crust.

I buy it at Costco at a great price for a fantastic cheese that will surely win you over.

As far as variety goes, I would say fetta, but fetta is usually sheeps cheese or cows cheese however some delis and gormet stores do sell a goats milk variety. Or any crumbly goats cheese is usually better. Most goats cheese I have seen just says goats cheese, so I am guessing its usually like a brie made with goats milk, as its the similar texture, or a camebert cheese.

Its not the fact that it is made with goats milk I think that affects the taste, fetta tastes similar no matter what kind of milk its made with I think. Its how its made, its made to be an aged tarty cheese. I think adding it to cooking makdes it taste better, adding it to salad is good too.Goats cheese is good in quiches too or in small amounts to recipes. Try adding a little crumbly goats cheese to a greek spinnach pie.
